My armies

Here is a little slideshow of a selection of my favorites armies.Click on the army title for more photos

Aztecs (click for more pictures)

My favourite army so far.

Originally painted as a request for my girlfriend who wanted a "colorful" army* but managed to become my all-time favorite both as a great looking army as well as an all-conquering army  in DBM

*original response "are you serious? this army sucks in DBM...well...never mind I'll do it"

Late Imperial Romans (click for more pictures)

My second most favourite army .

The warband and artillery combination in this "unodrthodox" DBM army list managed to score

quite some impressive victories and trophies over the years.

FoW Mexican-American Army (click for more pictures)

Not wanting a dull looking US Force opted for the 69th Mexican Volunteer Brigade compromizing

of sombrero bearing soldiers as well as the odd Aztec figure (never forgeting our glorious

past) here and there as well as many other wacky stuff.

Generic Chinese (click for more pictures)

Originally painted as a "nothing else to do while serving in the army"*  project.

Compromized from a variety of Chinese Miniatures not being part to any specific period.Originally

planned as Southern Dynasties DBM Army managed to get the perfect 12/12 score in ITC Lisbon

2009!!!

*serving in the army for 12 months is compulsory in Greece

Republican Gnome Army (click for more pictures)

The most colorful army so far. A FoG army using Gnomes and their allies the Trolls !!!

An enjoyable project that unfortunately didn't fare well on the battlefields.

WW2 Russians (click for more pictures)

Painted in a week for a BA Tournament this army was basically a test run for new 28mm

techniques ( painting faces in a new style for skin ) . Also it was my first attempt at painting

tanks and I'm very pleased with the result.

more armies coming soon...
